Holidays on the Hilltop Christmas Tree Lighting & Parade

11/18/2010 6:00 pm

The Thomas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Holidays on the Hilltop Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade is scheduled for Thursday, November 18. The tree lighting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the parade will follow at approximately 6:30 p.m.

This 2010 Christmas Parade Application Packet contains all the information about the parade including the welcome letter with details on the parade and how to sign up, an application, participant responsibility agreement and rules and regulations. Please review this information thoroughly and return your application no later than the Friday, November 5 deadline.

Chamber-member businesses can show their support of this community event while advertising their businesses on WTRF, Fox Ohio Valley and ABC Ohio Valley. Review the Advertising Sponsorship Package and contact Megan Mellott if you are interested in this option. The chamber also offers several smaller sponsorship options, which are detailed in Chamber Sponsorship Options . Please contact the chamber office at 740 695-9623 with questions or to sign up for any of these opportunities.

The Fraternal Order of Police Associates Lodge #13 invites you to Be the spark - light up a local child's Christmas by donating a new toy to their Annual Toy Drive. New toys will be collected at the parade and tree lighting, and can be dropped off at the chamber office at 130 West Main Street the week of the parade. Further, FOPA #13 challenges all local businesses to collect donations leading up to the day of the parade to have the honor of presenting the largest contribution & being the brightest light in a deserving child's Christmas. Gatto Food Service will help collect donations by providing a vehicle as a drop-off point during the parade, located near the Christmas tree in the center of town. All donated toys will be given to local charities to help families right here in Belmont County. For more information, contact Tim Wilson at 695-2220 ext 103.

Thank you for your interest in the parade. We hope to see you on November 18!
