SUMMARY:Belmont County Adult Services Coalition Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The next meeting of the Belmont County Adult Services Coalition will be on Thursday April 2\, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at St. John's Lutheran Church in Martins Ferry. \n\n \n\nDirections: To get to St. John's Lutheran Church from Ohio Rt. 7 turn onto Hanover Street.  Go past McDonald's.  At the first intersection (4 way stop) turn right onto 4th Street.  On the right you pass the Elks\, St. Mary's Church and St. Mary's School.  The next building is St. John's Lutheran Church.  Park in the church parking lot or on the street opposite the church.  Directly in front of the church is handicapped parking.  Enter the door on 4th Street closest to St. Mary's School. Look for the Faith in Action Caregivers sign.  The Fellowship Hall is on the lower level. \n\n \n\nOur guest speaker will be Mary McGuire. Mary will be talking about healthy eating and how to make recipes that we love\, better for us. \n\n \n\nAgency Highlights will be from:\n\n\n	Ann Koegler\, Altenheim Retirement Community \n\n  In March\, when we cancelled the meeting because of bad weather\, we had the following scheduled for agency highlights. I'm hoping they will be at the April meeting and able to give us a ten-minute overview of services.  \n\n\n	Darla Spence\, Autumn Health Care \n	Chip Railing\, OVMC/Hillcrest \n	Theresa Depp\, Alzheimer's Association \n\nThe Caregiver Support Fair Planning Committee will have an update on the event which is scheduled for Tuesday\, May 5 at the Ohio Valley Mall.  If you have not yet sent your agency's exhibitor form you can bring it to the meeting.  Don't forget that you can send the exhibitor form without the insurance.  We need to get a count on the number of tables needed.  There is still a month to get the insurance done.\n\n \n\nRefreshments will be provided by the Occupational and Lung Disease Clinic at East Ohio Regional Hospital. \n\n \n\nThere will be time for agency announcements and networking with your colleagues. \n\n \n\nI'm looking forward to seeing everyone next week.
