SUMMARY:Belmont County Safety Council Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:The Belmont County Safety Council will hold a lunch meeting on Thursday\, August 7\, 2014 at the J.B. Martin Recreation Center from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.  This meeting will serve as the second meeting for the 2014-2015 program year.  The cost of lunch will be $15 and advanced reservations are required to ensure that we have adequate seating and food for all of our attendees and speakers.  Any Walk-Ins will be $17.\n\n\n\nThe speaker for this luncheon is Charlie Dixon on OOGEEP.  His topic will be:  Wear It For Them!  Safety Efforts within the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Sector.  \n\n\n\nCharles "Charlie" W. Dixon serves as Safety and Workforce Training Administrator for the Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program (OOGEEP).  Mr. Dixon has more than thirty-seven  years combined service in the oil and gas industry\, firefighting\, EMS education and emergency response.  As the OOGEEP Safety and Workforce Training Administrator Mr. Dixon is working with Rhonda Reda Executive Director of OOGEEP\, OOGEEP Board members and other leaders within the oil and gas industry\, state and local officials\, colleges and career and technical schools to provide and develop and high quality training and education and enhance safety for the existing and future workforce.  Mr. Dixon is an International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) accredited instructor\, and has helped organize specialized training for Ohio's oil and gas industry.\n\n\n\nYe Olde Alpha will be providing lunch which will include Pulled Pork and Pulled chicken w/ slider buns\, Grilled vegetables\, Roasted red potatoes\, Cranberry salad w/ raspberry vinaigrette\, Mixed green salad w/ Ranch & Italian\, Bread & honey butter\, Brownie\, Iced Tea\, Water\, and Lemonade.\n\n\n\nTo make reservations\, call the Chamber Office at 740 695-9623 or e-mail info@stcchamber.com. If you have e-mailed your reservation and you do not receive a response\, please try again as a confirmation email signifies that we have received your reservation.  To help us give the caterers adequate information to plan\, please call\, fax or e-mail info@stcchamber.com your reservation to the Chamber office as soon as possible.  Changes can be made up to Tuesday\, August 5th.  We must invoice any reservations made and not canceled by Tuesday\, August 5th\, will be invoiced at the full luncheon fee to cover cost of catering.
