SUMMARY:Belmont County Safety Council Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:The Belmont County Safety Council will hold a lunch meeting on Thursday\, October 2\, 2014 at the J.B. Martin Recreation Center from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.  This meeting will serve as the fourth meeting for the 2014-2015 program year.  The cost of lunch will be $15 and advanced reservations are required to ensure that we have adequate seating and food for all of our attendees and speakers.  Any Walk-Ins will be $17.\n\n\n\nThe speaker for this luncheon is Michael J. Hickey of Garvin & Hickey\, LLC. which is a law firm that is dedicated exclusively to representing employers in all matters related to workers' compensation.  Mike is actively involved in defending intentional tort actions and is a frequent lecturer on the subjects of workers' compensation and intentional tort.  He is also a regular speaker for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce\, the Ohio Self-Insurers Association\, the Central Ohio Self-Insurers Association and various other groups representing interests of employers.\n\n\n\nFor the October meeting\, he will discuss Additional Awards for the Violation of Specific Safety Requirements (VSSRs) under the Ohio workers' compensation system.\n\n\n\nRiesbeck's Food Markets will be catering this luncheon.  The menu will include Roast Turkey\, Baked Steak\, Scalloped Potatoes\, Green Beans\, Dessert and Beverage.  \n\nTo make reservations\, call the Chamber Office at 740 695-9623 or e-mail info@stcchamber.com. If you have e-mailed your reservation and you do not receive a response\, please try again as a confirmation email signifies that we have received your reservation.  To help us give the caterers adequate information to plan\, please call\, fax or e-mail info@stcchamber.com your reservation to the Chamber office as soon as possible.  Changes can be made up to Tuesday\, September 30th.  We must invoice any reservations made and not canceled by Tuesday\, September 30th\, will be invoiced at the full luncheon fee to cover cost of catering.  Even if you have prepaid for lunches for the year\, please make a reservation. \n\n\n\nPlease remember that your CEO must attend any one of the twelve meetings in the program year and must sign-in as the on the CEO line.
