DESCRIPTION:The St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Luncheon on Wednesday\, January 15\, 2014 at the J.B. Martin Recreation Center from Noon - 1:00 p.m.  The cost of this luncheon is $15.00 with an advanced reservation.  Reservations are preferred to ensure we have adequate seating and food for all of our attendees.  Any walk-ins will be $17.00.\n\n\n\nThe speaker for this meeting will be Premier Bank & Trust VP and Senior Trust Officer\, Dan Griffith.  Dan is an Estate Planning Attorney who worked on developing the legislation which finally became known as the Ohio Asset Management & Modernization Act (OAMMA) and the Domestic Asset Protection Trust (DAPT).  The OAMMA is a new asset-governing law which has the potential to make a huge economic impact in Ohio.  Ohio Asset Management and Modernization Act (OAMMA) allows individuals to put a portion of their assets into a protected account managed by a third-party trustee. The protected account\, called a Domestic Asset Protection Trust (DAPT)\, is a multi-generational legacy trust that allows one generation to preserve business or personal assets for future generations.\n\n\n\nThe Caterer for this luncheon will be Ye Olde Alpha and the menu is TBD.  \n\n\n\nTo make reservations\, register online via the link in this email\, visit our website stcchamber.com or call the chamber office at 740-695-9623.
