SUMMARY:St. Clairsville Area Chamber Student Awards Banquet
DESCRIPTION:The St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize academically superior students from the St. Clairsville area with our Annual Student Academic Awards Banquet\, scheduled for Wednesday April 29\, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Belmont Hills Country Club.\n\n \n\nTo be eligible for this award\, students must\n\n live in the St. Clairsville-Richland School district\n\n attend Belmont Career Center\, East Richland Christian Schools\, St. Clairsville High School\, St. John's Central High School\, The Linsly School\; or The Olney Friends School\; and\n\n be a junior or senior with a cumulative 3.90 grade point average on a 4.0 scale or a cumulative 4.0 grade point average on a 5.0 scale.\n\n \n\nEach year we invite these accomplished academic achievers and their parents to join us for our banquet.  This year's speaker will be Dr. Paul Gasparro\, President of Belmont College.  He is sure to provide an inspirational message to those in attendance.  In addition to the speaker's presentation and the awards ceremony\, we also award two scholarships\, a $500 and a $250\, to randomly drawn students in attendance at the banquet.  \n\n \n\nIf you would like to attend the Student Awards Banquet\, we have some limited spaces available for Chamber members.  Please contact the Chamber office at (740) 695-9623 to make a reservation.  Thank you for your assistance with honoring our area students.
