serve it. Or you’re an
instinctive cook with great
results. Why not enter the
Wheeling Feeling Chili Cookoff?
Sponsors include the City of
Wheeling, WTRF-TV 7, and
Carenbauer Distributing.
The 14th Annual Wheeling
Feeling Chili Cook-off will
take place from noon-6 p.m.
Saturday, June 6 at
Wheeling’s Heritage Port. It is
sanctioned by the

International Chili Society.
The ICS categories are Red, Verde, Salsa, and
Homestyle that will bring cash prizes and trophies
for the winners/ There also will be cash prizes
and trophies awarded for Showmanship; People’s
Choice; Rookie Cook, and Best of Wheeling.
All proceeds will benefit the United Way of the
Upper Ohio Valley.
The ICS chili competition cooks, as well as the

commercial cooks taking part, will be handing
out chili samples in exchange for tickets that
will be sold for 25 cents each during the festival.
Steel Cassa and Déjà Vu will be performing
throughout the day, and there will be a car show.
