On May 18th, 2016 the Department of Labor updated overtime regulations that extends overtime protection to more than 4 million workers. How does this affect your organization?
With the update of salary and compensation levels, for most organizations this means that salaried employees earning less than $47,476 annually will either receive an increase in compensation in compliance with the new earning regulation or be required to clock in and out as a non-exempt hourly employee.
